MX Product Roadmap Quarterly Update

As part of our product roadmap this year, MX has actively been focused on advancing our ability to receive, store, and share health equity information with both MX network participants and California Data Exchange Framework (DxF) signatories. This includes expanding MX’s ability to support Sexual Orientation and Gender Identify (SOGI) data across all of our existing products and services, from displaying SOGI in MX Access, to making SOGI data available in the data services that we deliver to our participants. Additionally, MX has implemented specific SOGI reports to track the progress that MX participants are making in sharing SOGI data with MX.

In the second quarter of 2024, MX made progress in onboarding and sharing Enhanced Care Management (ECM) enrollment information via MX Access with the addition of ECM enrollment information from the Health Plan of San Joaquin. ECM populations are extremely vulnerable and at risk of significant and costly healthcare interventions. Including enrollment information helps support care coordination, and MX is excited at the prospect of additional health plans sharing this information in the coming months.

MX Earns Gold Standard in Security Certification for the Sixth Consecutive Year

Manifest MedEx (MX) systems and applications that support our notification and longitudinal patient record services-MX Notify and MX Access-have successfully met the requirements of HITRUST CSF® certification for the sixth consecutive year. This demonstrates the highest levels of security in the healthcare industry. As a standards organization, HITRUST® has spent over a decade integrating regulatory requirements like HIPAA and related best practices in security to help businesses manage their information security risk and compliance requirements.

This achievement places our nonprofit among the elite few qualified health information organizations (QHIOs) that have earned this certification.

“We are proud to continue to protect the patient information in the Manifest MedEx network. It is critical in our line of work to keep patient data safe, and we consider it our top priority. Our team has worked diligently yearly to maintain our HITRUST status and give our customers continued confidence in our security measures.” said Jason Buckner, Chief Information Officer at Manifest MedEx.
