New MX Access upgrades bringing you powerful health information tools
The Manifest MedEx team has been hard at work all summer on a major update to our MX Access services, rolling out later this fall. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to use longitudinal health records (which cover 2–5 years of data from across California) in your daily workflow. We’re adding one-click connections to records from any notification; graphing of lab values; and new enhancements to the integrations, experience, and reliability of our systems.
Want to learn more? Sign up for a sneak preview this month! We’re holding online sessions to give you the earliest look at these new features. Registration required: RSVP here.
Here’s what to expect in this big update:
One login across all Manifest MedEx services and products. You’ll stay securely signed in while reviewing both notifications and longitudinal records.
One-click access to full medical records from any MX Notify alert. When you receive a real-time alert that your patient is admitted or discharged, just one click will display additional details about their medical history. We’re cutting out at least 5 clicks and 30 seconds from every review by moving MX Access and MX Notify services to a shared platform.
Upgraded longitudinal health records on the robust new MX platform including graphing trends in lab results. Quickly visualize changes in a patient’s lab values from data gathered across multiple sources in California. Flag worrisome trends and anomalies with a glance. You’ll also be able to filter for specific sources in the patient’s medical record.
Better service experience. We’re overhauling our UX designs and system infrastructure to bring you fast, easy, and reliable access to health information from the network.
More administrator tools. It will be easier than ever to create new accounts in your organization. We’re adding account management tools, including helping users securely reset their own usernames and passwords. And there will be an extra layer of authentication for security.
If you have any questions about what’s ahead, feel free to contact us anytime. We’ll be reaching out to all participants to get prepared as the launch approaches. We look forward to helping make your vital work of improving patient care and reducing cost a little easier.
